Visiting Sri Sakthi Ashram (SSA), Tangkak

Among the numerous spiritual places in Malaysia, there is one remarkable location  that a many may not have known, even amongst Hindus in Malaysia - Sri Sakthi Ashram. This Ashram is situated a few kilometers away from Tangkak township. Tangkak can be accessed by PLUS highway, towards the south (see Tangkak-Segamat exit signboard along the north-south highway, heading south). You would definitely love this place when Mount Ledang sets as the backdrop view of Sri Sakthi Ashram (SSA).

Kausalya, my sisters daughter has always been attracted to this ashram after attending "sadhana camp" couple of years ago. She has been persuading my sister for another trip for prayers and visiting the spiritual Guruji who is responsible establishing SSA. (please clink the above link for further detailed information). I drove down to Tangkak via Bemban and Jasin link road. It's about 40 minutes drive from Ayer Keroh.

I've been to SSA before but noticed ashram had gone through some major changes. Ganesha's huge murthi was placed at the front of the ashram. The walkways are covered with non-slippery tiles. "Sapta Kanni" shrine is the latest attraction. Remarkable place to visit for prayers and checkout with the organization in areas that you could contribute.
