Happy New Year 2020

New Year’s Day is the most active-minded holiday, because it is the one where people appraise their lives and plan and resolve to take action. One dramatic example of taking resolutions seriously is the old universal tradition of: “What one does on this day one will do for the rest of the year.” What ties this tradition and the more common type of determinations is that on the first day of the year people take their principles more earnestly. Resolve to be more earnest, honest, truthfull and consistent in mind, thoughts and action.

Walk Your Life

The problem of most of the people around you is inconsistency in words they say versus the action they do. They sizzle in the beginning and then fizzles out in a short moment like a can of bottled soda being opened. I am so accustomed to this kind type of personalities! They thought that life is all about themselves and their family. No matter how spiritual and religious they portray outwardly, inwardly its all about “self”. If you are of use to their needs, they stick with you, praise you high. Otherwise they just dump you for good. Beware this kind of energy sucking friends.

Nobody is perfect, so have to accept the stark reality that what good for us is not necessarily good for others and vice versa. Everyone has their priorities. So, the relationship with others shall be based on give and take. Don’t be too attached and place high expectation. This will avoid you being ended up draining your vital energy.

No matter what, you have to walk your life journey alone, not expecting people around you will see your trial and tribulation or empathize to your predicament. Few will understand you, encourage you to move on but the majority of the simply have no time and treat you as a passing cloud, possibly only want you when your chips are up, use for their objective to meet their goals. Keep a distance away from such people. Just allow yourself to sail along the river of life on its own term. There is no right or wrong in life, just breathe along.

Everything in life is temporary

We come alone and we also go back alone eventually. No one is going to follow us for sure. Some people have responsibility to complete and some do not have any. It is just temporary life, but life full of drama. Every book comes with a story that have a beginning and an ending. So be in joy.
Our ego of saying “this is mine”, e.g. my house, my car, my wife, my husband, my dog, my cat, my mom, my dad, etc. are temporary material and feeling of possessiveness in the highest order. We can’t bring all these things or people beyond the grave. In fact, the moment when the body becomes lifeless, the don’t call us by name. We are deemed to be “the body”. Ironically, we are so much attached to worldly material, reluctant to let go all these temporal pleasures of lives for good.
Everything in life is temporary! The key is not to get attached but learn to flow with the natural current of life!
“Life is series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them- that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.” Lou Tzu
Sufferings were created when we expect everything in life to be according to our thought and when it doesn’t work out as how we wanted it to happen, so this creates distress and sorrowfulness. What comes to your mind after reading the above statement? Don’t you hold many expectations in life and how events in life should happen as how you expected it to be happening, but in actual reality the results show otherwise? Therefore, you believed that life is going against you and that the force of life is always waging war on you. You fell depressed and feeling a sense of giving-up than keep trying.
Though this narrative sound pessimistic and painted a grim picture, struggling and fighting against natural life events is futile because we are a tiny water droplet in oceans of life. Mostly, all we can do and hang on and hope that the storm passes and then arise unharmed.
I had come face to face with many friends and subordinates who came to me asking for advice and suggestion for similar narrative of live as mentioned above, when life throws them off balance, stuck in bad situations or in life threatening conditions due to ill health. I do empathize with them because I had gone through similar life experiences and felt powerless compared to forces of life.
Frankly, I don’t have all the answers to their predicament and the only console I can provide is by reminding that everything in life is temporary, even our pain and suffering. This meant that even this unpleasant experiences also will a passing thing too if we quickly let it go without having any attachment to it.
This reminds me of a passage I read from one of my preceptor’s spiritual book that mentioned the ability to flow freely in the river of life without opposing the current and having not to cling to life obstacles. Learn to let it ago before merging with the great ocean of understanding.
“Being in the flow means being aware that the river of life is flowing to us at every moment. Being in the flow means accepting whatsoever comes and putting it to good use, before passing it on. Going with the flow means whatever comes to move on freely, without holding on in any way.” Anonymous
I had gone through many ups and downs in life. It’s a series of painful sufferings, failures, tormenting sufferings due to self-made and inflicted by others upon me. Here, I felt vulnerable, and have little choice over my mortality, life appear bigger than me. During this phase, the experience of a greater depth to lives if willing to give up resistance to what is taking place were thought to be a better option. I learned when in a helpless state, the great act that I can do is yield to forces of life rather than opposing it.
Did you ever observed how a tree bows down so low to a strong blowing wind in an intense windstorm, to avoid being up-rooted? The tree reign still standing steady once the windstorm passes. A rigid tree will never be able to go through a similar windstorm onslaught. This comparison serves as a foundation for the way we must think about our life conditions. We can let go our rigid mind thoughts of how life should unfold. Be flexible and move along with natural flow of life journey.
Therefore, in the process of subjecting ourselves with life forces, we are softened by the forces enforced on us. I was eventually become humbled aftermath of my own ordeal after an uncompromising ideal expectation. That’s what it means by having a strong back and a soft front. By having the resilience to stay strong confronting life challenges with openness and compassion.
Yielding to forces of life is not same as giving up! Its about developing a strong back-bone or spine and being flexible facing when facing strong tormenting lice challenges. We have to adjust our thoughts and flow with the flow of life forces, so it can take us where it needs to.

Trust

Trust is feeling for an expectation we render to another person, for a good deed or otherwise as we perceive as it should be, an emotional attachment. Life is a changing process and dynamic one too. Trust is social exchange. That's why stay level balance with all we acquainted with. Trust the inner self, not the external mind, is most important

Life story

Life story
Life stories do not simply reflect someone personality. In the realm of narrative psychology, a person's life history story is not a Wikipedia biography of the fact and case of a life, but rather the way a person integrates those fact and case internally—picks them apart and weave them cover together to make meaning

Whether or not we are truly inventors of our own lives, we certainly are inventors of the write-up of our lives. For some, this story is clear and open in in front of their forefront of their mind, becoming what drives them, what determines them how they spent their time and energy. For many of us the story is less clear, fragmented sentience but often easily seen by others.

Our story is shaped by stories of others, those important to us who were not only role models but also doled out their own particular philosophies of life. And of course, there are our own experiences and values. Our story becomes the lens trough which we view events of our life, our human relationship with others; it governs what we can expect of ourselves and life itself.

So, what’s your story? Here are some questions query to help you describe yours. As you answer them, think not in terms how you think things ought to be, but rather how you think and behave in everyday life.

How safe is the world and other people?
This is about trust, about anxiety and fear. Wicked things happen out of the blue; the other shoe always drops; others are out to screw you or scam you. You need to be cautious, alert, take what people say with grain of salt of table salt , trust your family or your kind, form , but be wary of everyone else.

There are always some bad apples, even dangerous and untrusting people, but most people are good, considerate, willing to to go an extra mile to help your now and then. Also, sure the will be bad things happens in any one or more states of our lives. On the other hand, plenty of good things to happen in our lives as well if we just look for them.

What your measure of happiness and success?
For some, it is measured by the attainment of goals in the bigger world — achievement in a career, wealth, accomplishment in a career, wealthiness, professional reputation. For others it may be a contentment that comes from the support and love of family, friends; for parents, it may be measured by the happiness of their children. For still others, happiness is not measured by outcome but by doing — being creative or doing what gives you meaning, competing against your rivals and hopefully coming out on top, or some combination of all the above.

Why do bad things happen?
They just do; they help us see and appreciate the good; there is really no bad but only what we decide to call bad; it is God’s will, God’s test for us; they are pay-backs for our wrongs. We don’t know.   No worries, no hurry or sorry, just keep moving, no matter what!!

The ironic of life & facing a hypocrite person

It's a fascinating and unpredictable life. Somewhat we thought we are in control of our body and destiny. How ironic we encounter the worst of human species able to live a good and disease free life as compared to the opposite soul who values every creation as an extension of him/herself but inflict pains and suffering others can't fathom. In religious beliefs they explained this conditions due to past karma, God's test and etc. Who knows better than nature. Just take it as nature's way of teaching us the value of life encompasses beyond physical senses and associated feelings.
There are far worst condition people than we are. Handicapped, blind, incomplete limbs, deaf and dumb, mentally changed, down syndrome, gender deformation and many more. We don't have other choice than be grateful whatever present conditions dictates our ability or condition. Thanking the unseen force that we may call God, almighty, or any other names according to one's belief system. Do belief that all our good deeds and action brings positive returns sometime in any of our present or future lives. Hidden powerful nature knows when and how to rewards it's earthly helpers or healers at the right time. Keep being the instrument of God helping anyone and living beings because He knows who can be His helper without Him being present. No matter what just be cheerful and be in joy.
I have met people who are highly religious and spiritual. So disciplined and practice rituals like performing and observing strict fasting, all the religious important day and dates, going for spiritual pilgrimages, retreats and body pain inflicting vows/ pledges but shows no feelings towards other living creatures, fellow human beings lesser status condition than them. They chase away beggars in front of their house gate, they pour litters of milk away in the name of glorifying and paying homage to their Gods but resent hungry destitute. Turn face away seeing poor guy in tattered clothes.
They sing soothing songs praising Lords and Gods like no other but no qualms using hurtful words to others they feel not happy or offended. Easily fall to angers, revengeful etc. High religious’ knowledge but in practice do everything opposite as compared to those who do it without all those hypocrisy tendencies and fake identity. These hypocrites are likely to gain motivation from a desire to look good, more than an internal desire to satisfy personal goals. This stems from feeling of insecurity as a result of selfishness. I value those with humanistic touch in their deportment.
What choice we have to face such people in life? We can avoid meeting such people in our life. Learn to identify such people and be more conscious, taking note by avoiding their destructive character overshadowing you to minimise damage. These are some tips on how to life with such people around you:
Ignore everyone and act only based on your own moral compass, avoid condemning others, identify context and how it changes the way you think, listen to your cognitive dissonance, Reserve judgment until you've actually experienced something, practice integrity, never make promises, Don't overly trust your friends.

Your Life is Too Valuable to Waste Chasing Possessions

In the world where wealth and material comfort takes the front row to be possessed by the majority of people, simple living were discarded and thrown away in the dustbin. It is sad that we do not life to enjoy the real meaning of life. Being in the present, grabbing every moment of opportunity to be in joy, seeing the ultimate goodness being with our definitive comforter, mother nature.
Chasing after the impermanent possession in life such has material wealth, status, social class standing become a norm, not knowing that all these will perish sooner or later. Nothing clings on us forever. There will be a time we need to say good-bye to all these comforts. We are fooling ourselves that people around us, including our loved ones will follow us to end of life.
There is more joy in pursuing less than can be found in pursuing more. In many ways, this is a message that we already know to be true. But when we again hear the simple message that there is more joy in pursuing less than can be found in pursuing more, it rings true in our hearts because deep down, we already know it to be true. We know that possessions don’t equal joy. And we know that our life is far too valuable to waste chasing them.
Our life is shortWe only get one shot at it. The time goes by quick. And once we use it up, we can’t get it back. So make the most of it. Possessions steal our time and energy. They require unending maintenance to be cleaned, maintained, fixed, replaced, and removed. They steal our precious attention, time, and energy and we don’t even notice it until it’s too late.
Our life is unique. Our look, our personality, our talents, and the people who have influenced our lives have made us special. As a result, our life is exactly like no one else. And just because everyone else is chasing material possessions doesn’t mean we have to too.
Our life deserves better. Joy, happiness, and fulfillment are found in the invisible things of life: love, hope, peace, and relationships. And they are not on sale at your local department store. Stop looking for them there. People who live their lives in pursuit of possessions are never content. They always desire newer, faster, or bigger because material possessions can never satisfy our deepest heart desires.
Be reminded that your life is far too valuable to waste chasing material possessions. And find more joy today by choosing to pursue “better,” rather than “more.”

Live life as how you feel, right now!

Life is short. Just carry on living a life that you wished it would fit you to live. No one is more knowledgeable than yourself about you own-self and well-being. People can say anything that want, advice and gives tonnes of opinions on how to live, but it doesn’t make any different to you at all.

Your breath is worth for yourself only. Nobody can breathe for you. They will never know what you went through from the moment you’re born. They never walked your footsteps to feel the pain and pleasure. However positive their view upon your life, living moment to moment and being in the now is always the self. They can express how they are feeling about you but they are unable to fathom the depth of your inner core self.

There is no right or wrong, as long you don’t cause trouble and miseries upon others. Even the religious views are also being just an opinion that you may not take it too seriously. I realized that religious tenets belief system is just intoxicating as drug. Be a human first before claiming that we are a spiritual or religious person. Religious and spiritual people are one of the worst species known to mankind. They are so hypocritical and damaging race in the entire planet. They pray to an unknown GOD, but hurt, injure and kill all living things.

Religious people pretend they are so humble and obedient to their creator, but they act the opposite to their fellow human beings and animals. They impose their belief system, congregate among their like-minded group and condemn others who are not in their fold. I view religion as just not more than trying to please the self to stay relevant and bargain with the GOD or creator for better living condition here and hereafter. None have so far have proved the existence of GOD. It was narrated by old religious institution, persons who proclaimed have illumination and vision of GOD and what they’re told to do to human kind according to their geographical area where they’re born. They propagate and convert others into their newfound claiming they’re the most authentic and purest form of religion.

Not that I am an atheist, don’t get me wrong, I am believer of GOD or creator, but I came to psychological juncture that after going through more than fifty years of life experience, nature is the GOD, where mother and father is our first known GOD.

If anyone keeps hurting you all the time, they're not worth to be in your affection action, let them go, hate not, intrinsically love them and thank them for returning the "karma" back to you, that you have inflicted to someone else in your distant past lives !
