Economy Impact

The Impact of economy slowdown. What impact?

The impact of economy slowdown surely does affect many house-holders but in general, many are still ignorant how serious it was. I took a note book and started to jot down my observations at local shopping complexes and these are my findings:

1. Retail prices are priced higher though fuel has dropped drastically.
2 .Spending pattern of consumers reduced just lower that of the desired target line.
3 .Spending pattern glaringly differs amongst age groups. The younger being spendthrift while the older were prudent.
4 .Many still drives in droves to supermarkets and hypermarkets without doing their basic preparation as what to buy and what are the general prices differences.
5 .Consumers are not prepared to abandon buying though they’d realized that prices of items they would like to purchase are higher than normal as they find troublesome to get a cheaper one at other nearby places.
5 .Concern on buying beauty products than basic necessities among young women shoppers.
6 .Frequenting to fast food restaurant chains after shopping or while waiting for friends.
7 .Qualities of consumer goods are not better vs. the high price attached to them.
8 .Some of the local brands of clothing products labeled higher price than that of the imported ones.
9. The price hypes in the hypermarkets. Check out yourself by comparing from one hypermarket to the others in similar capacity. You could see the differences easily.

It will take awhile before the public masses come to realization of how the impact of economic slowdown had affected us. We are expecting a major melt-down in global financial market system and the wave of economic tsunami is just around the corner. (Many countries already getting the brunt)

Either we wake-up or shake-up, a vigilant focus on our spending pattern must be taken into due serious consideration and as an important element in our effort to stay in survival mode to whether whatever challenges coming ahead.

It’s better to be on guard and prepares an umbrella for the rainy days ahead than stand in ruins when the economic storm ravage us! Are you prepared?
