Chanced to see the latest Surya's movie, Aadhavan at Jaya Jusco, Tebrau City cineplex, last Sunday. The movie was basically an improvised and enhanced version, technically from combination of many old movies. Surya and Niyantara acted while Vadivello gave almost 90% of the comic relief. The technical advancement in many aspect of film making seemed being enjoyed by the movie goers.
Saroja Devi, the MGR era actress acted quite OK. Surya's animated face of 10 years age look was quite not polished enough to look real. Nevertheless, the idea Surya being a hired killer in the beginning is something difficult to digest with, but after the intermission, the plot changes....Well I would rate this movie 6/10 mark. If you're a fan of Surya, well you should enjoy this movie..he is still a crowd puller.....Those parets with kids, advice is needed...potray many violance sequence scenes not suitable to kids..

Deepavali celebration 2009
Deepavali came and went like a breeze. Significant difference were noted in this years celebration. Though a toned down version but nieces and nephews had their best of times!! I could see the time lapse and fast forward what to be seen in the near future and these kids are growing right in front of me. Carrying in em' the joy and feelings when where were at their age. they're just the mirrors image reflection of us, the elders!!
